Paste to Markdown
Copy rich text from Word, Google Docs, Notion, or a selection on a webpage, then paste it directly below — this reads the formatting straight from your clipboard, unlike the HTML tool which expects raw markup you already have as text.
Nothing you paste here is uploaded anywhere — the conversion happens entirely in your browser.
Select text in a Doc, copy, and paste — headings, bold, links and lists come through as Markdown.
Copy a block or page selection from Notion and paste it in for a quick Markdown export without the API.
Select an article or section in your browser, copy, and convert it without viewing source.
This one reads the rich-text HTML your clipboard carries automatically when you copy from an app — you don't need to find or paste raw markup yourself.
The tool falls back to reading whatever plain text is available. If neither works, your browser may be blocking paste into the field — try a different browser or check its permissions.
Image references usually don't survive a plain paste from most apps. For a page with images you want preserved, the HTML to Markdown tool with real source markup works better.
